Jaffery Nursery & Primary School in Mombasa is seeking a qualified Upper Primary Teacher for 1 position starting in January 2027. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics as the main subject alongside Creative Arts & Sports and/or Social Studies, fostering an engaging classroom environment and contributing to holistic child development.

• Teach Mathematics as the main subject, alongside Creative Arts & Sports and/or Social Studies.
• Plan and deliver effective lessons; maintain classroom discipline and learner engagement.
• Assess learners, keep accurate records and prepare progress reports.
• Integrate Art & Craft creatively into the curriculum.
• Participate in co-curricular activities and undertake other assigned duties.

• Proficiency in teaching Mathematics, Social Studies and Art & Craft.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative.
• Commitment to holistic child development and academic excellence.
• Training in child-centred pedagogy or creative arts integration.
• ICT literacy for teaching and learning.
• Experience in co-curricular activities and learner mentorship.

PTE/P1 Certificate or Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE).

At least 3 years' teaching experience in Upper Primary.
