About

I am a qualified and dedicated Mathematics teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree specialising in Mathematics and Geography. I have teaching experience in both Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary School, and I currently teach Mathematics to Grades 7, 8 and 9, as well as Social Studies to Grades 7 and 8. I offer patient, learner-centred tutoring designed to help students understand difficult concepts, improve their performance and gain confidence in their studies. I break down challenging topics into simple, manageable steps, use practical examples, provide guided exercises and adapt my teaching to suit each learner's pace and individual needs. I understand that learners have different abilities, and I am committed to helping each student make progress without feeling discouraged. My lessons focus on strengthening foundational skills, improving problem-solving techniques, practising questions and preparing for school assessments and examinations. I am available for in-person tutoring, with arrangements for the location and schedule to be agreed upon. My goal is to help every learner develop a stronger understanding of Mathematics, become more independent in their learning and achieve their academic potential.
