A profile on Teachers Updates is not proof of identity, TSC registration, employment or qualifications. Teachers Updates does not guarantee the identity, qualifications, conduct, availability or suitability of any teacher, unless a specific check is shown as having been done by Teachers Updates.

TSC provides an official online service for checking registration status. A registration status should not be read as proof that a teacher is currently employed by TSC. Open TSC online services and choose Registration Status.

Payment safety

Teachers Updates does not collect or hold payment for tutoring, homeschooling or any teaching service. Before you meet

A parent or guardian should be present when a young learner meets a teacher for the first time.
Ask the teacher to show their identification and their TSC registration confirmation at the meeting. Do not collect or photograph their ID number.
Speak with the teacher before arranging the first lesson, and agree on times, place and expectations beforehand.
