The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) will hold its 95th graduation ceremony on Thursday, 3 December 2026, at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, Nairobi. The college announced the date in a notice on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. The ceremony starts at 8.00 am.
The notice sets deadlines for name corrections, fee payment, gown collection and certificate pick-up. Graduands who miss them risk penalties or being left out of the ceremony.

How to check your name on the provisional list
KMTC has published a provisional list of graduands on its website. Each graduand should confirm that:
- the spelling of their name is correct
- the names appear in the right order
- their details match the college’s ERP system, their admission letter and their national identity card
Anyone who finds an error must submit a correction request through the designated correction link by 12 noon on 12 November 2026.
Corrections are limited. KMTC has said graduands may only fix the spelling or order of names already on the list. New names cannot be added, and existing names cannot be deleted. A request made after the deadline attracts a fine of KSh 5,000.
Graduation fee payment
Graduands who have not paid the graduation fee must do so through the Jiunge app on or before 13 November 2026. KMTC does not accept cash payments, and unpaid graduands risk missing the ceremony.
Gowns: collection, requirements and return
Every graduand must wear a gown at the ceremony. Gowns will be issued from 16 to 27 November 2026, so collect yours within that period.
To collect a gown, carry:
- proof of College fee clearance
- your campus clearance form
- your graduation fee payment receipt
- your original national identity card
Gowns must be returned before 4.00 pm on Wednesday, 16 December 2026. Each day of late return costs KSh 100. A gown returned two days late, for example, would attract KSh 200.
Rehearsal
Attendance at the rehearsal is compulsory. It takes place at the Kasarani stadium on Wednesday, 2 December 2026, the day before the ceremony.
Collecting your certificate
Certificates will be available at KMTC Headquarters, Nairobi, from Monday, 7 December to Wednesday, 16 December 2026. Collection is between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm on weekdays and is allowed only for graduands who have cleared with the college.
