This fully online, self-paced professional development course (4–6 weeks / approximately 20 hours) equips educators with the knowledge, skills and confidence to integrate digital technologies into teaching and learning effectively, responsibly and ethically.

Topics include teacher digital competence, smart education, digital literacy, technology-enhanced learning, digital citizenship, responsible technology use and ethical Artificial Intelligence (AI). The course is aligned with the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu).

Eligibility

  • Pre-primary, primary, junior secondary, senior secondary and K–12 teachers
  • Teacher educators, academic staff, instructors and other education professionals
  • Open to educators seeking to strengthen digital teaching competence
