The Regional Teachers Initiative for Africa (RTIA) Facility, through Expertise France, has launched a new call for proposals under its Teachers in Crisis Contexts (TICC) scope. The call focuses on enhancing teacher professional development and well-being and addressing teacher shortages in crisis-affected contexts in sub-Saharan Africa.

The RTIA is an EU-funded initiative that supports African countries to improve teacher education and training and to ensure schools have enough qualified teachers. It is implemented by Expertise France, EDUFI, Enabel, VVOB, APEFE and ESTDEV.
