Documents Required By TSC During Recruitment Interview

Documents Required By TSC During Recruitment Interview.

Teachers must produce originals and clean photocopies of the following documents upon invitation to an interview: –

a) National identification card;

b) Registration Certificate as a Teacher;

b) Certificate of diploma/degree and official transcripts;

d) KCSE certificates or it’s equivalent (including certificates for retaken exams);

e) KCPE certification or it’s equivalent (include certificates for exam retakes);

f) Primary and Secondary School Certificates of Completion and Other Relevant Documents;

g) National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) Card (where appropriate);

h) An affidavit made per the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act, Cap 15 of the Laws of Kenya, explaining the difference in names;

i) Certificate of results issued by KNEC (where applicable).

For Teacher Internship Programme, applicants shall be required to produce the following:- 

i) A copy of the Teacher Registration Certificate/print-out from TSC online portal as evidence of registration as a teacher; 

ii) A copy of the National Council for Persons with Disability (NCPWD) card (where applicable); 

iii) A copy of the National Identity Card (ID) or Passport; 

iv) Two (2) color passport-size photographs;

v) A copy of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) card; 

vi) A copy of the Kenya Revenue Authority Personal Identification Number (KRA PIN). 

CAUTION: 

The recruitment exercise is free of charge. 

The Teachers Service Commission forewarns applicants against fraudsters who might extort money from unsuspecting persons purporting to assist in recruitment. 

REPORTING OF FRAUD 

Any fraudulent activity should be reported to the nearest TSC office or Teachers Service Commission headquarters through the following telephone lines: 

Director Staffing (0202892193) and Deputy Director- Staffing (0202892131) or write to the Commission through the email address dirstaffing@tsc.go.ke 

Further, any such fraudulent activity should be reported to the nearest police station.
