Bachelor of Education (Arts)
At least a C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least a C+ (plus) or equivalent in two subjects of career choice.
OR mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or Division III at KCE or equivalent or 1 Principal and 2 Subsidiaries at KACE and be holders of a P1, S1,
or Diploma in Education from a recognized institution with two (2) years of teaching experience after training.
Bachelor of Education (Science)
Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (plus) or equivalent in two subjects of choice and C (plain) or equivalent in Mathematics
OR mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE/Div. III with P1 Certificate and at least 2 years teaching experience or mean grade C (plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma in Science Education with at least 2 years teaching experience.
Bachelor of Education (Special Education)
Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (plus) in one of the following subjects, English/Kiswahili, Maths/Biology and any Arts subjects or mean grade of C (plain) or Division III with a P1, S1 or Diploma in Special Education or 1 principal and 2 subsidiaries and at least 2 years of teaching experience.
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education)
Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent
OR Mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE or equivalent with ECE Diploma and two (2) years relevant experience or Minimum of C (plain) at KCSE or equivalent with P1 certificate and two (2) years relevant experience.
Bachelor of Education (Library Science)
Bachelor of Library and Information Science Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C(plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma in Library Science and / or Information Science or Archives Administration.
Bachelor of Education (Home Economics)
Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (plus) or equivalent in Home Science and Chemistry or Physics or Geography or English or Mathematics or any subject taught in high school
Kenyatta University Education Diploma Programmes
Diploma in Education (Early Childhood Studies)
Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE Or Division III at KCE; Or C- (Minus) with either a P1 certificate; or an Early Childhood Studies certificate from a recognized Institution. Applicants must have taught or worked in an Institution dealing with Early Childhood Education for at least two (2) years after training.
Diploma in Guidance and Counseling
Mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE/Div. III OR a mean grade of C- (minus) or equivalent with certificate in the relevant area

Admission Requirements
Applicants should either be holders of B.Ed degree in a related field attained at minimum of Second Class Honors (Upper Division) degree or equivalent from Kenyatta University or any recognized institution or be holders of B.Ed degree attained at Second Class (Lower Division) degree or equivalent with at least two years of relevant work experience or be a Graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education obtained at Credit II and above.
