The HR Department of the Consolata Fathers Kenya/Uganda Region wishes to announce and advertise the following vacancies in the Consolata School Westlands Secondary Section for January 2021.

• One teacher of Kiswahili: Combination: Kiswahili/history and any other combination except CRE
• Two teachers of Biology/Chemistry Requirements for the applications and documents to be submitted.

Requirements

• Must be a BED holder in the teaching subjects 
• Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC registration Certificate) 
• Must have at least two years of experience in teaching at Secondary level (Recommendations letters from previous employers) 
• Must show evidence of good performance in areas of classroom management (performance records) 
• Must be a committed and self-driven individual who works with minimal supervision 
• Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the subject (s) areas of teaching

• Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of current global trends in the education sector 
• Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of the education Act of Kenya 
• Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of the Children Act of Kenya 
• Must be computer literate and demonstrate competence in digital skills and e-learning skills 11) Must be law-abiding with NO criminal record (Recent Good Conduct) 
• Being a KNEC trained examiner in any of the subjects is an added advantage 
• Demonstrated evidence of interest in co-curricular activities is an added advantage (Certificates of Merit)

• Must have a minimum of 25 years and a maximum of 35 years of age (National identity card) 
• Tax compliant (certificate of compliance from KRA) 
• KRA PIN 
• NSSF number 
• NHIF Number 
• Recommendation from the religious leader of your place/church of worship.

GUIDELINES AND TIMELINES FOR THE SUBMISSIONS OF APPLICATIONS

Guidelines:

1) The application letter MUST ONLY include:

• ✓ Identification (your full official names as per the national identity card) 
• ✓ Educational achievements (Class 8 and form 4) 
• ✓ The University where you did your BED (What class of BED it is, the combination by the combinations required) 
• ✓ Professional teaching experience (indicate the places the years spent in every place and finally, you indicate the total number of year of experience)
