Salary, Allowances Machogu, And Other Cabinet Secretary Nominees Will Earn Upon Approval

On Tuesday, September 27, President William Ruto revealed his Cabinet, naming Ezekiel Machogu as the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Education.

Ezekiel Machogu has a long history in public service and will be looking to use his experience to oversee one of the country’s critical sectors.

If ratified by the Parliament, Machogu will replace the large shoes of George Magoha, whose tenure at the helm of the education portfolio has been praised.

Streamlining the disputed Competency-based Curriculum (CBC), which is equally acclaimed and criticized, will be at the top of Machogu’s agenda.

The implementation of the new academic curriculum faces numerous obstacles, including insufficient infrastructure.

The politician who made an unsuccessful attempt to secure the Kisii governor’s seat is an education fanatic.
