PSC Announces CAS Job positions; How To Apply
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued job positions for a Chief Administrative Secretary.
This comes after President William Ruto established the CAS office.
PSC chairman Anthony Muchiri said in a statement released on Wednesday that applicants have until October 27, 5 p.m. to submit their documents.
“Women, minorities, the marginalized and persons living with disability are encouraged to apply,” he said.
Applications must include a detailed curriculum vitae (CV), copies of relevant academic and professional certificates and transcripts, and a cover letter.
They should also be accompanied by a National ID or passport, as well as any necessary testimonials and documents.
KRA, HELB, EACC, DCI (certificate of good conduct), and a registered Credit Reference Bureau must all approve applicants.
“Applicants must submit copies of these clearance certificates with the application,” Muchiri said.
He went on to say that the applications should be clearly labeled “Application for the Position of Chief Administrative Secretary.”
Documents can be delivered in person to the Commission House on Harambee Avenue or mailed to the Commission’s address.
The applicant must be a Kenyan citizen with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
They must be able to manage the administrative-political interface, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and articulate public policies and programs.
They must also demonstrate the ability to handle complex and time-sensitive tasks that require collaboration with multiple institutions and government agencies.
Applicants must demonstrate knowledge of national values as well as knowledge and application of good governance.
They must also comply with the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
It is about leadership and integrity.
The names of all applicants will be published on the Commission’s website, according to the PSC.
“Names of the shortlisted candidates will be published in the print media,” Muchiri added.
