Primary School Teacher Found Dead After Leaving A Suicidal Note

On Wednesday, December 8, the body of a primary school teacher was discovered inside a borehole in Transmara, Narok county.

According to police, the 39-year-old teacher’s body was discovered just days after he left behind a suicidal note.

The Transmara Sub-County police chief, Pius Mbithi, stated that the teacher had been having domestic issues with his wife, which they suspect was the primary cause of his death.

“He left his rental premises on Tuesday morning never to be seen again until when his body was discovered,” Mbithi said.

“The teacher who has been described as lovely by colleagues and locals left behind a note on his desk in school indicating where the family would get his body plus contacts of his wife,” Mbithi said.

The teacher’s lifeless body was discovered floating in a borehole at Kona Shopping Centre in Narok on Wednesday morning, exactly as he had written in his suicide note.

The teacher had left the note behind, gone to his house, and then left on Tuesday morning, never to return.

Following a follow-up from the wife, the teachers informed them that they had discovered a suicide note on his desk.

Locals discovered the body after seeing a coat, a pair of shoes, and a mobile phone abandoned next to the borehole, according to police.
