Teacher Secretly Hosting Form 4 Female Student Flees after Colleagues Busted Him
After being detected having an amorous relationship with a Form 4 student, a mathematics teacher at a girl’s secondary school in Navakholo, Kakamega county, has fled.
After fellow teachers and the school watchman stormed his residence at 3 a.m. yesterday, Enoch Osero vanished into darkness through a window in the back of his house, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
When a 19-year-old student at the institution went missing for two weeks after being sent home to collect money, suspicions were raised.
The student, it turned out, never returned home because Osero was keeping her in his residence.
“The student is reported not to have reached home, since a mischievous Osero clandestinely sneaked her to his house.
“He is said to have promised private remedial tuition to the candidate set to sit the forthcoming national examinations, to cover for the missed classes,” wrote the DCI in part.
Osero’s antics were discovered by fellow teachers, who decided to confront him in the dead of night, after which he left via the window.
Teachers accused him of tarnishing the reputation of the noble profession of teaching.

In the morning, a board of management meeting was called to decide on Osero’s fate, as he had yet to be confirmed as a regular employee.
The student was taken to Navakholo medical hospital for essential tests after the teacher took off.
