Ministry of Education Announces Job Vacancies
The Ministry of Education has announced that it is currently looking to fill various positions in the public universities and constituent colleges.
The successful applicants will be placed in any university across the country, with the aim of promoting diversity and a balanced representation of different regions and genders.
For the role of chairperson, the Ministry has stated that candidates must hold a minimum of a PhD degree from a recognized university.
Additionally, they should have a proven track record of leadership and management experience, and must also satisfy the requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution.
“The candidate for the position of chairperson should have proven experience in leadership and management and satisfy Chapter Six of the Constitution,” the ministry said.
Again, candidates must also meet the requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution.
The Ministry has emphasized that applicants should not be public servants or active members of any university faculty, whether public or private.
Furthermore, all candidates are required to provide certificates from the Commission for University Education for degrees, diplomas, and certificates awarded by foreign universities and institutions.
