Kirinyaga Shock: Teacher Arrested for Drugging, Sodomizing Car Wash Attendant
Police in Kirinyaga County have arrested a high school teacher suspected of drugging and sodomizing a 23-year-old man at the Baricho Trading Centre in the Ndia Constituency.
William Kinyua, the suspect who allegedly committed the indecent act sometime last week, was on the run until authorities finally apprehended him on Wednesday. At Baricho High School, he is a teacher.
Moses Koskei, commander of the Kirinyaga West Sub-County Police, confirmed to Citizen Digital that Kinyua roofed the victim, a car wash attendant, at a local hotel in Sagana after tricking him into following him to the town after washing his car.
The victim, who was reportedly intellectually disabled, was reportedly lured by Kinyua with the promise of a pint of beer for a job well done.
Once the pair arrived at the local pub, Kinyua kept his word and purchased the alcohol, but the victim quickly lost his faculties after consuming the alcohol.
“The victim said he thought he had done a good job by washing the teacher’s vehicle but little did he know that the teacher had ill intentions,” said Koskei.
Koskei added that the victim was later discovered naked and abandoned near the Sagana River by a group of women who alerted authorities, who subsequently transported the victim to a hospital.
Kinyua is being detained at the Baricho Police Station pending his arraignment.
