KESSHA, KEWOTA Want Government To Implement Digital Learning In All Schools.
Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (Kessha) chairman Kahi Indimuli has suggested that the government implement digital learning in all schools so that when pandemics such as Covid-19 strike, every child has access to virtual learning, as opposed to two years ago when only a few students did.
KEWOTA CEO Benta Opande urged the delegates to re-examine the future collectively during this new era of education in Kenya.
“This new era has provided us with an opportunity to adopt new learning methods and strategies for a better future in education in Kenya and globally,” she said.
The CEO also informed the delegations about KEWOTA’s objectives and how the organization is objectively linked to others such as KESSHA, KEPSHA, and others.
She went on to say that, while KEWOTA is not a union like KUPPET, KNUT, or KUSNET, the improvement of the education sector is a shared responsibility of all stakeholders.
Madam Benta persuaded leaders to embrace digital learning in order to expand opportunities beyond our borders.
More than 9,000 school principals from public schools across the country gathered at Sheik Khalifa Hall in Mombasa for the 45th annual Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (KESSHA) conference to coordinate their efforts in the education sector.
