KNEC PORTAL: How To Check KCSE Results Online, 2022Candidates who took the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations in 2021 now have a more convenient way to access their results.Soon after announcing the results on Saturday, Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha outlined the process by which you can retrieve your results with a simple touch of your mobile device or computer.Prof. Magoha stated that the ministry, through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC), provides two major access points: the KNEC portal and mobile SMS.It is necessary for parents, guardians, or students to have the student’s index number.The cost of one SMS message is Ksh.25 for those who use it.You must dial 20076 and enter the index number followed by the word ‘KCSE.’As for the KNEC Website;- Students should log in to the portal- Click on the KCSE tab and select the YEAR they sat for the exams- Key in their INDEX numberSimilarly, the CS stated that candidates can physically collect their results from their respective examination centers or visit the county education offices.ALSO READ:He warned about web traffic on the portal, stating that a large number of users would be on the site hours after the results were released, urging users to be patient.According to the CS, 831,015 people took the exam in 2021.KNEC PORTAL: How To Check KCSE Results Online, 2022
