HELB Announces 29 Drop-Off Locations For First-Time Loan Applicants
The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) has announced 29 drop-off locations for first-time loan applicants.
In a statement issued on Monday, August 15, HELB announced that the main center would be located at its headquarters at Anniversary Towers in Nairobi.
If applicants are unable to access the premises, they may submit their completed forms to the Nairobi General Post Office (GPO) or designated Huduma Centres.
“Where can I drop my completed First Time loan application form? At Mezzanine 1 Floor at Anniversary Towers. If you are far, drop your completed forms at select Huduma Centres across the country,” the HELB statement read in part.
Because it also houses the headquarters of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), which is currently conducting the General Election, the Anniversary Towers may be temporarily inaccessible to the public.
Students in Kisumu, Mombasa, and Nakuru can drop off their forms at the new Nyanza Regional Headquarters, Posta Pension Towers, and Nakuru GPO, respectively.
Huduma Centres can also be found in the towns of Bomet, Bungoma, Garissa, Chuka, Kakamega, Kisii, Kitale, Kitui, Lodwar, Machakos, Makueni, and Meru.
Forms can also be dropped off at designated locations in the towns of Migori, Murang’a, Nakuru, Nandi, Narok, Nyeri, Taita Taveta, Thika, and West Pokot.
On July 27, HELB opened applications for students admitted to universities and tertiary institutions through TVET programs.
The application would be submitted through the company’s official website, www(dot)helb(dot)co(dot)ke, with the following instructions:
“Print two copies of the duly filled application form. Ensure you preview the form and correct where necessary before you submit for printing. Have the forms appropriately filled and signed where necessary.
