Gov’t Announces Jobs With Annual Salaries Of Up To Ksh3.5 Million; How To Apply.
The Commonwealth Secretariat, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has announced 11 senior job vacancies with annual salaries of up to Ksh3.5 million.
According to an advertisement, job openings include Assistant Programme Officer who will be placed in Asia, Assistant Programme Officer (Caribbean), Assistant Programme Officer (Pacific region), Assistant Programme Officer (Stakeholder Engagement), and Assistant Programme Officer (Stakeholder Engagement) (Monitoring and Evaluation).
Assistant Programme Officer (Software Development), Assistant Research Officer (Climate Change), Assistant Research Officer (Office of the Secretary-General), Assistant Health Officer, Assistant Research Officer (International Trade Policy), and Assistant Programme Officer are among the other positions available (Governance and Peace Directorate).
How to apply
The positions are on a two-year fixed-term contract with a salary range of Ksh3,531,233.
Applicants must also have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area, as well as at least one year of demonstrated work experience in the design and implementation of subject-relevant development or democracy programs.
Applicants must be no older than 27 years old at the time of application, with a deadline of August 8, 2022.
The Commonwealth is a non-profit organization of 56 member governments that provides policy advice, technical assistance, and advisory services to Commonwealth members.

KECOBO jobs pay a range of salaries, with the highest post, Senior Planning Officer, paying Ksh133,469 per month with a maximum of three years of experience.
KECOBO is also looking for an ICT officer with a salary of Ksh120,052, a Legal Counsel with a salary of Ksh120,052, a Senior Accountant Assistant with a salary of Ksh84,707, a Principal Resource Mobilization Officer with a salary of Ksh48,985, an Assistant OCT Officer with a salary of Ksh48,985, a Principal Sales and Marketing Officer, and an Office Assistant (Ksh34,721).
