Form One Reporting Date Set On February 6th

Form One students will report to their new secondary schools beginning on February 6, 2023, according to Ezekiel Machogu.

At the unveiling of the Form One selection process at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, Machogu stated that the procedure was conducted fairly, based on choice, merit, and space availability.

“The selection process was based on merit, availability of space in schools and a fair manner,” he said. 

Additionally, Machogu said that 107,461 girls and 91,566 boys have been admitted to county schools across the country.

“We have admitted 111,105 females in extra county schools, with 117,055 males,” he said. 

The CS also reported that all 106 National schools received placements, including 18,794 females and 20,178 males.

The KCPE results were released on December 21, 2022, and the top two performers with 431 marks were two students.

In November 2022, more over 1,2 million pupils sat the KCPE examination.

The form one placement results for 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary School Education (KCPE) candidates were released under the supervision of Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu. 

All 2022 KCPE candidates have been put in secondary schools across the county, according to CS Machogu.

Send the candidate’s index number to 22263 to find out the school in which he or she has been placed. The cost is KSh 25. 

The Form One selection details are also available on the website of the Ministry of Education, which candidates can access via the link provided.
