Fire Burns Dormitory At Chavakali Boys’ Secondary School
The dormitory at Chavakali Boys Secondary School went into flames, just minutes after a dormitory at Buruburu Girls in Nairobi was destroyed by fire.
Even though efforts to extinguish the fire at Chavakali are underway, the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
Several students were injured in the Buruburu incident and were taken to Metropolitan Hospital.
Several disturbing videos shared on social media by Buruburu residents show screaming girls jumping from the school’s multi-story dormitory in an attempt to flee to safety as smoke engulfed the structure.
