He noted that KUCCPS had placed applicants for admission to the 32 public diploma primary teacher training colleges for the first time.

“A total of 1,538 (1,216 female, 322 male) have been placed in Diploma in Primary Teacher Education and Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education,” Magoha said.

He went on to say that KUCCPS placed 293 students (129 male and 164 female) in three colleges that offer Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education, namely Kagumo, Kibabii, and Lugari TTCs.

“These students will be trained to deliver the CBC curriculum,” he said.

Students who have been placed in various universities, TVET institutions, and TTCs were advised by the Education CS to log in to their respective student portals and check the details of their placements.
