Durham University Scholarship For Female Students From Developing Countries; Apply Now

Durham University in England is offering the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship to female students from developing countries who have the academic and personal qualities necessary to complete a postgraduate degree and act as ambassadors for their home countries in Durham.

The scholarship is part of Hatfield College’s celebration of 30 years of women students and is funded by alumni, friends of the college, and other supporters.

The scholarship covers full payment of tuition fees, a monthly living stipend, one return economy air ticket from the student’s home country to the UK, fully funded self-catered accommodation at Hatfield College, and the cost of a UK visa and health surcharge.

Applicants must have been offered an unconditional place on a master’s programme by June 2023, hold a relevant honours degree, have all other course entry requirements including the relevant English language qualification, not hold a master’s degree, and not have the financial means to study for a master’s degree in the UK.

The scholarship application process involves submitting an academic application for the chosen master’s programme, referencing the intention to apply for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship, submitting an application for the scholarship via the application form, and submitting all supporting documents via email to [email protected] by the deadline of March 31, 2023.

This scholarship is an opportunity for female students from developing countries to pursue a postgraduate degree in the UK and gain knowledge and skills that they can use to benefit their home countries upon their return.

It is also a chance for them to act as ambassadors and showcase the positive contributions that their countries can make to the world. The scholarship is a testament to Hatfield College’s commitment to promoting gender equality and supporting women’s education.
