The British Council GREAT Scholarships provide students from fourteen countries with the opportunity to receive £10,000 towards their education.

In the academic year 2023–2024, 49 universities in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland will award 200 scholarships.

Scholarship Details:
Each scholarship is supported jointly by the GREAT Britain Campaign of the British government, the British Council, and participating UK higher education institutions.

All GREAT scholars will be invited to a welcoming event in the first semester and a networking event in the second semester as part of the program.

Scholarship Requirements:
To qualify for a scholarship, applicants must:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree, be enthusiastic and be interested in the chosen topic area

  • Be willing to attend a networking event for all UK-based GREAT scholars to share their experiences and perceptions of studying in the UK.
  • As an alumnus of the GREAT Scholarships, be willing to continue touch with the British Council and their HEI and act as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships. be willing to chat with prospective candidates on occasion about their personal experience studying in the UK.

Western Sydney University Scholarships are now available to students of all nationalities enrolled in one of the university’s approved postgraduate programs.

All overseas applicants have been automatically assessed for university-funded scholarships; no separate application is necessary.

The University of Western Sydney International Postgraduate Scholarships 2023/2024 are available to international students enrolled in one of the university’s approved postgraduate programs.

Scholarship Requirements:
Candidates must:

  • Be an overseas student who is not an Australian citizen, a citizen of New Zealand, or an Australian permanent resident. If your status changes to one of these during the study period, your scholarship will be terminated.
  • Meet the academic eligibility requirements for either multi-year scholarships in their most recently completed tertiary qualification recognized by Western Sydney University.
  • Meet all other admission requirements and accept their admission offer. Begin a new program of study in 2023 for the first time.

Scholarship Duration and Reward
$6,000 annual contribution towards tuition (up to a maximum two years).

The value provided will rely on the student’s academic performance in prior studies:

$6,000 per year tuition fee contribution (up to 160 credit points or a maximum of two years) or $3,000 per year tuition fee contribution (up to 160 credit points or a maximum two years).

Benefits will be applied to tuition expenses for full-time enrollment in a two-year or less postgraduate program.

The scholarship is a partial tuition price waiver and does not cover living expenses, housing, transportation, international student health insurance, or any other costs associated with the study.

Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program develops future leaders from developing and emerging countries.

This scholarship program offers fully-funded graduate study at Oxford, including leadership development, mentorship, and networking.

This award is part of the Oxford Graduate Scholarships, which were established through a new matched funding initiative to create fully-funded scholarships for the world’s best graduate students.

The University donates 40% of the cash for these scholarships, coupled with 60% from generous donations donated by supporters of the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust, notably Fondation Hoffmann.

Fondation Hoffmann is a Swiss-based grant-making agency promoting the formation and expansion of real projects which address global concerns in today’s communities.

The Leadership Programme is a distinctive aspect of these scholarships; additional information on this can be found on the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust website.

The scholarship covers course fees and living costs (at least £17,668). Awards cover your entire course cost liability.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must select the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme on Oxford’s graduate application form and submit your application before the December or January deadline for your degree.
